There is something about certain up-tempo songs that makes my foot heavier and the gas pedal lighter. Does this happen to any one else here? Off the top of my head I can think of five examples:
Radar Love - Golden Earring
Jim Dandy - Black Oak Arkansas
Highway Star - Deep Purple
Smokin' In The Boys Room - Brownsville Station
Wammer Jammer - J. Giles
JohnHenry - Brownsville Station up tempo? Uh... I don't think so! Each to their own, but what about Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin.... Is that your generation? No offense intended, at least your taste in cars is good!LOL!

Oh for crying out loud Chalmers. This was just meant to be a light-hearted post about music that brings the speedo up FOR ME. I said "smokin' in the boysroom", not everything ever produced by Brownsville Station. Sheeesh! You could have offered a couple of selections that do it for you...
Anyway.....
Bullitmon: yep Metallica does it too!
dfresh: Rage Against The Machine - Didn't they do a song called "Bullet In The Head" (BullittHead) I think they qualify!
