My Build Number

Hey guys! I am now the proud owner of a new Bullitt! I just have one question, and I feel real silly asking, but...

How do I find my build number? I looked on the door sticker and I looked on the build tag under the bumper. I am not certain what I am looking for. Can any one help?

Under the hood, driver side shock tower.

And whatever you do, don't wash it with anything!

Congrats!

Mike
Behold the infamous sticker!!

Come on you guys...the sig is PULLMYFINGER...
You've been had!!!
Doh! I didn't really look at the sig....

While it sounded like a rather strange request, I've heard of and seen worse when it comes to auto ignorance. Like the extremely puzzled look on a co-worker's face when he opened the front of his 911 to show me the engine. The car was new and he didn't really stop to think about what he was doing. I am not 100% convinced, however, that he really knew that the car was rear engine.

Maybe the moderator(s) will be merciful and remove this monument to my gullibility
Gee Nasty.... you're just trying to make me feel better, aren't ya

While you're at it, you mind helping me pull this hook out of my mouth?

Hehe! No prank, I swear. This is my deathmatching handle from way back.

I just went and looked and I am...

Bullit #03535

So I may change my handle to reflect the number or I might take the handle LostMyWife or something to that effect, to reflect the fact that this car may cost me my marriage!

All thanks to you guys!
Yeah, but I'm still gonna need help with this hook
If i remember right DHG # 3536 is in Ft.Myers Fla area.
Don't feel bad. When I picked mine up, no-one at the dealership even knew where to look. Imagine if you will:

Dealer: "Yessir, this Bullitt is a special edition for 2001 with a special serial number."

Customer: "Where's the special number located."

Dealer: "Duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh, I don't know and nobody else does either."

If I hadn't come along and showed them, they'd still be scratching their heads 3 months later.
RickyBoy-- don't worry, I fell for it too, only you replied to it quicker than I did and you got the hook! Whew!

You think thats bad? When I took delivery of my car.... I had a salesman (not the one I was dealing with) come up to me and say " Yep, These Bullitts are very rare.... they're only planning on building 3,000 of these!". Meanwhile, the hood is open and me and my buddy are starring at the little sticker that says 4542 on it. Mine must be extremely rare.
