Hey guys! I am now the proud owner of a new Bullitt! I just have one question, and I feel real silly asking, but...
How do I find my build number? I looked on the door sticker and I looked on the build tag under the bumper. I am not certain what I am looking for. Can any one help?
While it sounded like a rather strange request, I've heard of and seen worse when it comes to auto ignorance. Like the extremely puzzled look on a co-worker's face when he opened the front of his 911 to show me the engine. The car was new and he didn't really stop to think about what he was doing. I am not 100% convinced, however, that he really knew that the car was rear engine.
Maybe the moderator(s) will be merciful and remove this monument to my gullibility
Hehe! No prank, I swear. This is my deathmatching handle from way back.
I just went and looked and I am...
Bullit #03535
So I may change my handle to reflect the number or I might take the handle LostMyWife or something to that effect, to reflect the fact that this car may cost me my marriage!
You think thats bad? When I took delivery of my car.... I had a salesman (not the one I was dealing with) come up to me and say " Yep, These Bullitts are very rare.... they're only planning on building 3,000 of these!". Meanwhile, the hood is open and me and my buddy are starring at the little sticker that says 4542 on it. Mine must be extremely rare.
