...with ALL the Domino's pizza delivery
dudes! First, my wife orders the pizza and
Domino's asks if she wants it delivered to
the garage as usual. Then he asks her how the
Bullitt is doing. My wife is like "WHAT?".
Then the delivery dude arrives (different
dude than the one on the phone) and says
"$10.99 please...how's the Bullitt?" I say
"How do you know I have a Bullitt?" He says
"We all know you have one...we talk alot
about it at work...we all want to deliver to
your house to see the Bullitt...so can I
see it dude?"

BTW, I have shown the Bullitt to a few
different Domino's dudes all from the same
store. I usually have the pizza delivered
to the garage where I am tinkering around.

FREEEKING COOL!
I spent 30 minutes showing the Bullitt and
all my Bullitt stuff to him! I was LMAO the
whole time! :lol:

Brings to mind that when we had the siding put on the house last month the garage door is open the whole time. When the workers drive up first thing they ask, "Hey man, what's under those 2 car covers?" Hubby tells them a Mustang Bullitt and a Cobra R and they immediately want to take a look-see. They spend about 45 minutes to an hour looking over the cars and talking about them. Good thing we don't pay them by the hour! :grin:

And the same thing happened when the gutter guys came to put up the new gutters.... and so on, and so on......

I have even been amazed at some gearheads that can recognize the vehicle by it's shape under the car covers. The 1999 Vette was recognized by many due to the wide tail...the Bullitt less so but I have had several still know it was a Mustang, even under two sets of "pajamas" in the garage. :smile:

I think "my guys" knew that we had a couple of special cars in the garage as they were under a cover. They were very curious and wanted to see. :-B And of course, with that tail fin of the R's sticking way up there it was obvious that there was something of interest under there!

On Feb 15, The Honolulu PD internat affairs guys showed up at our station to inspect subsidized vehicles (annual) for equipment and paper work. When they came to my car, they asked me to open the trunk, then they wanted to see the interior, sub-frame stiffeners, alloy intake, cold air induction and my Bullitt decal (1631) under the hood. When the Lieutenant at the other end of the lot saw them look under my hood, he asked the guy next to him "why are they looking under the hood?". The guy told him with a straight face" oh, this year IA is inspecting under the hood, they wear a white traffic glove and look for dirt". The Lt ran to the gas pumps, got a pile of paper towels and started wiping his air cleaner and battery down. The IA guys had heard about my Bullitt. The have GTs And a couple of Cobras.

I,too, have become more popular(?) well known since getting the Bullitt. The shop across the alley from mine is Elgin Cams and Cranks. Pretty well known in racing circles. Anyway, a month or so after getting 4693 I'm eating my lunch when I see four guys from Elgin's Cam shop walking around my car and looking inside and underneath and just sort of doing an inspection. So, of course, I go out and answer questions and act like a proud Papa and finally after 12 years of being in the same location I get to meet my neighbors. The car brought them out of their cave, I guess. Now, it's all waves and smiles.

I ordered another Domino's pizza last night
and when the pizza duded arrived he didn't

Here's a good one in Tallahassee on I belive Tennessee ST. a guy that works for Domino's is using his DHG Bullitt as the delivery car with the sign attached to the roof.
