i finally finished the 1:18 scale model of my car. it took almost as long to do as the real thing. i took a 1:18 shelby and a 1:18 gt convertable and combined the pieces to get this. i used the wheels and hood off the gt and put them on the shelby with a little modification. to match mine i cut the hood vents and made a mesh insert to cover the holes in the hood. and made tiny wheel caps and painted the spokes black. i painted the inside dash woodgrain and added aluminum strips on the seats. i made little louvers and mirrors. i ground the front and rear spoiler off the shelby. i painted the headlights and foglights blue. blinkers were painted black. calipers were painted blue. i made exaust tips and made a little ga tag with jjz 109 like the big one. painted the car green and its even lowered 6mm just like a real 08! im working on a black charger now.<br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=1-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/1-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/2.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=4.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/4.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=5.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/5.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=6.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/6.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=7.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/7.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=9.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/9.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=8.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/8.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=10.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/10.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=11.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/11.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=12.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/12.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=13.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/13.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=14.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/14.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=15.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/15.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=16.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/16.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=17.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/17.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=18.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/18.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=19.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/19.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a><br><a href="http://s165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/?action=view&current=3.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u71/a69stache/3.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Truly amazing! You are one talented dude. I used to love to build model kits, but now I just don't have the time.

bullittgreen, did you use two 1:18 scale dicast cars, disassemle, modify, then reassemble to build this unique model or is this a modified plastic model. Either way, I am very impressed. Great job.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Awesome work with the model. Depending on how much free time you have, you could sell "custom" models as a side job.
