Hello, long time...

Last month, I hit some ice and wrecked 1048. Damaged was caused by going off road and into and out of a ditch. I was not hurt. Thought my BULLITT was totaled, but GEICO said it was fix able.

The collision shop is having a hard time finding parts, so I'm helping them out.

Passenger side exhaust got curled under and was actually poking out in front of the passenger side rear tire.

Side tracked there...

1. Looking for stock exhaust and muffler. (If not stock, then a good alternative recommendation.)

2. Driver side rocker panel.

3. Stock grill. (Had a mach one delete kit, but it didn't fit right, so recommendation for a well fitting mach one delete grill would be appreciated.)

I found a side scope on here about four, five years ago from a guy in BC CA. As I recall, he had a pretty good collection of wrecked BULLITTS. If any one knows who that might be and has his number, I would appreciate if you can pass to me.

Thanks,
Don

MPS Autosalvage is a place to keep your eyes on. They have some Bullitt stuff on occasions but it goes quick. Also watch eBay, Craigslist, and other similar places. If you are on Facebook, there are a couple Bulitt specific pages to browse too.

Ditto on e-bay and craigslist. I rebuilt a bullitt from a salvage yard. If you're not a snob and ok with repro parts, LMR sells a SVT style Bullitt grille:

I looked for people with other bullitt parts for sale on e-bay and craigslist and e-mailed them asking them about parts I needed. About one out of 5 e-mails paid off with either a purchase or a lead. I also searched ads for wrecked 2008 Mustangs and found a couple of ads by boneyards that didn't mention the car was a Bullitt despite the photos showing otherwise. I believe Ford may still sell the mufflers and tailpipe ends as ford racing parts, you can look up the part numbers and search for the parts online by part numbers. I've seen bullitt take-off exhaust parts on craigslist.

There's a nationwide craigslist search engine called Dailylister I searched. I found some people out of state who shipped me parts when I paid them with paypal. If you have a local speed shop where they specialize in Mustangs, call them and ask them if they have a lead. I found a performance shop here in San Diego that had a full suspension sitting in a box that was taken off an owner's car with 7500 miles on it. I bought it for $75. Be creative and good luck.

I have the cat back exhaust, but I am in Chicago. If you want to sort out the shipping, its yours for 100+ shipping. I pulled it off my car around 98,000 when i switched to the IRS. Has some surface rust but is solid and works

Not trying to hijack the original post, so I'll say this out in the open - if the OP isn't interested in your exhaust, I am.
