I have a notice appearing on the screen when I start the car that says it wants to connect to a wifi network (or the MyFord mobile app) to do some system updates. I'll download the app or park somewhere where I can connect to a wifi signal but was wondering if someone here can tell me what kind of system updates I should expect. Thanks!

Certainly someone out there has knowledge of this? And I couldn't find a MyFord mobile app - lot's of Ford apps - just not one called MyFord or MyFord Mobile. Any insight or help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you have a 2019, your car will never find a network to connect to because the Bullitt was the only 2019 model Mustang that did not come with a modem. You should go to your setting menu to Automatic Updates and then turn Automatic Updates to Off to stop these notifications. Your updates will have to either be done by the dealer or by USB stick after you download the update from My Sync and install yourself.
