Welcome! The numbers on the shock tower stickers rub off easily. It looks like it could be the number 8 or a 6. Could you possibly check under the driver's side passenger seat and under the carpet there for the 2nd hidden sticker Ford put there for verification? Also, could you post up the VIN number of your B and I can check the data base that another moderator has and see if it is listed there according to the VIN number and corresponding sticker number.
Member Wonbullitt00647 is who has the 01 data base and I contacted him about your sticker and he asked that you send to him the last 4 digits of your VIN and he can check to see if he has your Bullitt in the data base that way and it will mention the Bullitt specific # on the sticker. Please send it to [email protected] or post it up here.![]()
If indeed your last numbers of your VIN are: 71F197857 then you have 01 Bullitt #76. Dennis asks that you send him or post up here a pic of the rear seat decal for his data base. Thanks so much
I bought the engine out of Bullitt VIN 01F236448 a couple of years ago from MPS Auto Salvage. I asked about the Bullitt # of the car but they said it was not legible. Is it possible to get the Bullitt # of the car this engine came out of? Just curious, I have rebuilt the engine as a spare. If indeed your last numbers of your VIN are: 71F197857 then you have 01 Bullitt #76. I will check with member Wonbullitt0647 so he can check his data base with the VIN you provided....I bought the engine out of Bullitt VIN 01F236448 a couple of years ago from MPS Auto Salvage. The extra sticker is under the back seat on the 01 Bullitt. Ford once had replacement stickers because of fading from cleaning fluids.Just got my 01, and wondering why my shock tower sticker has an S at end. 0007S is mine View attachment 91532
Not all the replacement stickers have an extra 0 in front. I have the replacement sticker and documentation from Ford and it is exactly the same as the one under the seat. A previous owner requested it and was able to convince the dealer to not install it on the shock tower. I have it framed with the authenticity letter.
Yes, Jerry is correct. The original shock tower stickers had the zero in front of the number but the 2nd hidden sticker under the rear seat had no zero.3250’s extra sticker has only 4 digits.
The original sticker on the shock tower has 5 digits! 03250.
I have never removed the back seat to see what is actually affixed to the floor support.
