New tires are here!!!!

315/35's for the back, 275/40's for the front.

My wife's reaction was:

"How in the world are those going to fit under the Bullitt?"

I'm just amazed how huge those are, and that they will actually fit. I'm used to Fox Mustangs, where we would have to mini-tub it to fit a 315/35 on it.

Hopefully the new wheels will get here sometime this week, and I'll be happy!!!

Am I going to have to take the quad shocks off to fit the 10.5" wide wheels and 315's?

Check the e-brake cable. mine was rubbing with 285's on the back, but i have lower control arms. not sure that makes much dif but worth looking at
have 315's on mine with the quads and no issues. changed only the tires and rims.. offset is what you need to check on the rims.
I just bought the 10.5/9's from OE. Hopefully they get here this week, and I can get everything mounted up for the Mustang meet this weekend.

Next up:

Megabite JRs, CC plates, and some springs, still trying to decide on springs. I like the stance of the Sportlines, but I'm looking at the H&R Race Springs, but haven't seen anyone with them so I can check out the stance.
I love the H&R Supersports. Make sure the Race spring is really what you want if you decide on them. The have a pretty stiff spring rate.

Good info here.

I didn't see shocks and struts on your list. Any plans there?
I have the Bilsteins waiting already
I have 10.5" rims out back with a 295/35/18 tire in the rear. Also have the H&R SS springs with Bilstein shocks. No rubbing at all. Real close though. Rides not much stiffer than stock and handles ten times better.
Vogtland springs on mine. very happy with them.

Megabite JRs, ....
Planning to reinforce those torque boxes I hope. Megabites are known for reaking havoc on them.

Looks like the H&R Super Sports would be more like what I'm looking for. Thanks for the link, that was exactly what I've been trying to do, which is find spring rates with little or no luck.

Now let's talk about swaybars and other things. Panhard bar worth the money? Where's my handling experts at?
progress tubular front and rear on mine, MM k member brace, urethane bushings.
What about Strut Tower braces? Which ones will fit the Bullitt, some say they won't fit, but I haven't seen one yet that was Bullitt specific, although it is possible that I'm not looking at the right place......lol
You can get a lot of good tech info on Maximum Motorsports website. A lot of members have not noticed much difference with the strut brace but more so with the 4 point K member brace.

Full length welded subframe connectors stiifen things up for you.

Hopefully some of the track guys will chime in. I don't seem to recall a lot of people changing swaybars.
