Hi Con, I don't have an answer for you on that but I would like to get your driver's side shock tower sticker ID# for our registry here. If the sticker is missing or illegible, please go to the 2nd ID sticker Ford put under the driver's side passenger seat and under the carpet there. Here are instructions: BULLITT Archive Template

Could you post a pic of the sticker for our data base also please and the color of your B? Thank for everything!

You can google 4.6 Ford remanufactured engines, long or short block, and find any number of companies, like Jasper Engines, Powertrain Products etc. You can get a long block for around $3000 and a short block for under $2000, plus there are many used complete engines for sale on Ebay etc for a wide range of prices depending on the mileage. Also make sure you pay attention to core charges etc and the shipping costs. Lots of choices out there and many factors to consider. Good luck with your search.

Thanks. I would really like to know if any 4.6 will bolt right up, or is there only certain years that will work? Will one from a pickup work,etc.

Under the hood, drivers side shock tower on the forward face is an oval holographic ID sticker.
My vote is 5.0L coyote swap! Nice hp increase with no side effects.

I was about to ask you what state you lived in because I did a swap in California and have had MAJOR issues getting it smogged (per California's ridiculous rules) but I doubt if you are in any part of California if it's under 2 feet of snow !!!

Make sure you keep the intake manifold,,,, and the water pump,,, or use a water pump from a F150.
The Bullitt sticker is under the backseat on the 2001.

No sticker on shock tower. I will have to pull the back seat. Is this number different than the one engraved on console by shifter. It has the number 05091 after Bullitt? Thanks again.
