I also honestly don't know if I dream in B&W or color...

Where's Jimbob? Hmmmmm.
Who is the "Jimbob" you speak of, Grasshopper? Sound like man from deep in hills.

'Bout time you showed up. In honor of that...and knowing I've posted it before...here's Toni Basil doing her #1 hit, hey Mickey. I just love watching her move in this video...then 39 years old. 100 percent american cutie in her 1961 cheerleader outfit.

Hmmm. Not bad, I guess. I sort of turned off on her overdone facelift. I'm sure by now she's looking a lot like, well, a certain Speaker of the House I could name, but won't because of a guy named Fife.

My cover of Dean Martin's 1964 smash hit. Martin's son, Dino was a teenager and into Rock 'n' Roll, which Dean didn't like. Realizing that his new version of the song had hit potential, he told his son he was going to knock The Beatles off the charts. The song did just that, knocking "A Hard Day's Night" from the No. 1 position. Here's my cover. Hope you enjoy my attempt. ---Jim

Good song choice, Jimbob. Dean and Dino...sadly, Dino went first. He was a military pilot who screwed in...boom! Dean was devastated. That was the beginning of the end for him. Too much sadness in this world for many of us....but some joy along the journey as well.

Somehow, that whole sad incident slipped undetected past my radar screen. Holy cow! Air traffic control contacted all three 2-man flight crews and the others followed instructions and steered away from the mountain. Dino and his navigator flew right into it at 400 mph! Seems to tell me their radio had gone on the fritz.

Sorry to be the belated bearer of this bad news, Jimbob. Basically, Dean decided to drink & smoke himself to death after Dino died. Not a fun way to go if you ask me...but he didn't ask me.

Again, good covers there Ric...er, Jimbob. Rick lives on through his hits. Enjoy life while we can, folks. Today I got the news of another friend passing...bone cancer. Always wonder why I'm still here on days like this...why Mike and not me?
Actually, he was a few years younger than me..
