2. '57 Chevy Bel-Air (the King of the classics, looked good then, looks good now)
3. '57 Ford Fairlane 500 (the unsung hero which actually outsold the Chevy)
4. '55-57 T-Bird (slow, but sharp)
5. '59 Cadillac (fins gone mad)
6. '58 Buick (caused the great "chrome shortage" of '58 )
7. '58 Edsel (we laughed then, but now we admire)

If it was ever on here, it's SOMEWHERE. Vicki, go fetch Kurt's NastyBob creation! I'll pay you back tonight in the loft. Thank you! 😁

Here, Kurt. Maybe this'll tide you over until she finds the original...

Wow...one would not want to be on the wrong end of that cannon! But then, not really "guns" in the typical fighter sense.

Willard Scott...RIP....being a weatherman wasn't his entire claim to fame...

If I were flying faster than the speed of sound, I'd want to fire something at the enemy plane that explodes. I mean, .50-cal. slugs are fine and all, but there's just something about an explosion.
Opps. Double post. 👀

let's not forget this one, the P39, from WW2... or the 109 that boasted a cannon in it....

and the cannon in the P39 was used in other areas. My Dad had one on his PT boat.

Not sure about cannons or guns, but my F-111 pilot buddy said he had to go sub sonic to drop a bomb load...

Nice boat...the super rocket. Bench seat and automatic for Kutie cuddling. I vote Kutie #1.

Back in 2009 when I was flying from Wichita to Chicago to purchase my Bullitt, I got seated next to a project engineer who worked for General Dynamics. He was a weapons system design engineer working on the 30mm cannon for the Stryker Armored Vehicle.

For the next 90 minutes, I was treated to a bunch of video clips he had on his iPad of them doing operation testing with the cannon. I saw enough to know I never want to be on the receiving end of one of those rounds!

HMMM...
Lux-you-ree! That '69 Ragtop...I mean, just behold the glory of those naugahyde covered bucket seats with a console between 'em. That spells luxuree in my book.

Kutie #1 obviously deserves luxurees a plenty...diamond watches, bracelets, etc. As well as an unlimited credit card for any baubles she chooses. Right? This old geezer sure isn't the guy to provide that stuff...

And now for a pickle raid..1964 Beach Boys...they waxing nostalgic over oldies. Kind of Ironic, eh?

LOL! A clip from the NUMBER ONE late night TV show. Who'd a thunk it?
Kurt, I did not save stuff like that on my computer. Most all my pics that I saved of Bob's creations of PY and the chalkboard were saved at the "old IMBOC" under My Images. They are all gone now like a puff of smoke. View attachment 82240
Mine too...all that were posted here, but also all my photos downloaded to personal PC...with viruses and crashed hard drives in those days...ALL my pics from 2000 to 2010 are gone.
Personal/family pics, all the Nationals, MCA shows, Ford 100th, everything downloaded off this site, etc....all gone.

HOWEVER... all those photoshopped pics related to Collin...remember that IMBOC MASCOT poster board I made of those pics for one of our events? Last I heard Collin still has it...so...they do actually still exist, at least in printed form...

Yes, I remember that poster! It's a shame they didn't alert us to save our pictures we uploaded at IMBOC to save them somewhere else before the switchover. Who woulda' thought!
Kurt, do you ever hear from Nasty Bob? I have asked Mark awhile back and he hadn't heard from him in awhile. Bob and I had our outs many years ago. Had something to do with Wal Mart that I don't even remember. He quit speaking to me when I made a few remarks about his employer.
I corresponded with him via email for a couple yrs after he left, but, even then he just quit responding after a while. Ya, he was really po'd about all the directed Walmart commentary, union vs non-union etc....he took it personal and shut the door. Too bad, being a founder no less.
But....times change, as we all know....almost none of us originals left anymore.

I could write a history book about this place with all I know....including the real reasons why Mike sold it, but wouldn't tell anyone but a few....

Especially sad knowing so many people uploaded all their Nats pics to this site..
All our early years history, our events, pics of original members and their cars, all the mayhem and photoshopped silliness.....all gone.
Sad..
HMMM...

Methinks someone is unearthing a foul plot.
