Called my Ford dealer to try to get them to
order the replacement hologram. I was finally
passed to the Service Manager. I e-mailed
her the e-mail I had received from Mark
Wilson at Ford which has the SSM#, the
requirement for the original to be damaged,
etc. She said that they needed to inspect my
original to see if it was indeed damaged. I
told her that mine was NOT damaged and wanted
the replacement so that if it did get damaged
in 10 or 20 years I would have it already.
NO JOY! I asked if we could pretend it was
damaged. NO JOY! She said the dealership
could get in big trouble for this.

So no replacement hologram from this dealer.
Any suggestions?
I think I will try another dealer.

BTW, the Service Manager had never heard of the BULLITT.
She did do quite a bit of investigating for
me though, she called me back 5 or 6 times.

the hub caps don't come off the Charger.

LOL she didnt know. I would keep going to dealers to try to get it. My Bullitt badgeing in the rear was broken and the dealer had to send them my vin number, and id number before I could get it replaced, but look now they are all over ebay. But I do not think that will be the case with the ID's

Not only did the Service Manager not know
what a Bullitt is but also the parts guy,
about half the sales guys I talked to, most
of the mechanics. I am not offended, I am
just surprised.

BTW, I fueled up the Bullitt the other day
and the "super hottie" that works there
says "Nice Bullitt"...I almost -BLEEP- my pants!
(This chick is an 11...seriously)

Gonna try every dealer in town for a holo.

PY, try other dealers in the area. I called the dealer and asked for the parts department and spoke with the parts manager. I informed him of the SSM# and told him that my label was damaged. Faxed over the SSM#. He ordered the label, gave me a call when it arrived and just handed it over to me. Maybe you could make up a little white lie and say that one of the numbers has faded.

SFBULL,
I will try that. They wanted to inspect mine
today though. I hope they don't all want to
inspect the holo. I'll keep trying...like
you said it depends on the dealer and what
is going on at the time. I would be willing
to offer a bribe too...I WANT the replacement
holo! I will lie too!

Don't get me wrong. I want it for insurance
later if my original gets damaged. I am
afraid in 5 or 10 years nobody at Ford will
have even heard of a Bullitt, heck, I don't
think they do now and it's been less than a
year since our awesome machines rolled off the line!
