I get a wining noise sometimes when the clutch is dis engage (i.e. foot pedal depressed) then the noise will dispear. Is there something failing in the clutch like throw out bearing? or something else? Thanks for any info...

Yep, it's your throwout bearing. Might as well change the clutch while it's all apart.
Agree!!

Just had the throwout bearing replaced and the clutch rebuilt in HerPony's car.

Quiet as a church mouse now!!

Could also be your pilot bearing right? I know thats what is was with my 5.0. I replaced the release bearing(throwout bearing) and it still made the noise so I would change both.
