I was really thinking I would have a better dyno with my mods (mac O/R H pipe Pro M 87/WMS). Not sure what happened.

Only thing I can think of is they had to disconnect the battery to weld a bung on to do the A/F and maybe the computer got goffed up. I took it for a test drive before I did the run and IT felt fine.

Any thoughts????

A/F was mid 12's from 2000 to 5000 RPM's.
5000-6000 RPM's was 12.6 to 12.7.

Good news is they are developing a turbo charger for the 4.6 liter engine, and they might use the bullitt as a prototype. They have a great history with there other turbo chargers....... I would be with out the bullitt for a few months.. but that is ok...

Its not all that bad. If you consider the 15% drivetrain loss, you have about 277hp and 320ft-lbs of torque. That's a decent amount of torque. I'm sure that's the gain you have felt when driving and that's really what matters. These engines really develop the torque early on and that's what sets them apart from the GT. I have been thinking about why the cold air intake/MAF combo has not been delivering the HP we have expected and I came up with this; the long runner intake we have can take more air than the valves can let in. You can only get so much air in. If Ford used the GT camshaft, which wouldn't surprise me, than the profile is set up for the GT intake. I think we will have to change out the camshafts to really maximize the long runner intakes on our cars. Could someone who knows something about camshaft profiles verify this?

Learo, I live in Bellevue. Would you be interested in getting our two cars together to compare the power from our different mods?

Brad.. thanks for the input. Yeh that would be real cool, I am buzy this weekend, but next weekened I do not have anything going on. There is a good road by my house that is strandad on weekends.... let me know...
