OCTANE RATING

I have read a similiar article elsewhere, With fuel injected cars the computer is monitoring the air/fuel mixture and making adjustments, therefore if the car is recommended to run on 87 octane, using anything higher will be of little benefit and could actually cause harm to components down the road. I would just be sure to run a good brand of Gasoline like Shell or Marathon and try to stay away from the generics.
