There's been a lot of talk lately about the ever-painful dings, dents, and scratches now occuring on our beloved cars now that they've all passed their six month birthdays and life is starting to get to them. I feel sorry for all of you experiencing this as I have and am continuing to experience these annoyances on a regular basis, but I must say this.

Consider yourselves lucky. Ten DAYS after owning my car, it was vandalized and I forced myself to say, "Well, that's that. I'll repaint her someday." Since then, and even as recently as yesterday, 435 has run into a series of bad luck incidents. Rim scraped, splash guard cracked, highway rock dings, and even a nice "love tap" mark from a careless parallel parker on the rear bumper. I knew it was going to happen eventually, and it still pains me to see the new acquisitions, but I guess I didn't have the luxury of having an immaculate car for a number of months so I get over it quickly always telling myself that a repaint is in the future.

With 10,300 miles on her, weekly car washes, timely maintenance, and still parking at the back of the lots, I give her as much TLC as I can, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I can't stop everything. Well, I don't know where I was going with this, but I'll stop rambling.

In short, I love my car, scratches and all. No car is completely immaculate unless its never been driven, and what good is that?

Man....I hate that for you. Keep pressing, eventually these things will pass. I caught 717 on the A-pillar just above the driver's window with a ho in my mom's garage a few months back. Scratched ALL the way down to the sheet metal. I got a nail in my left front tire in the first week or so of owning the car. Also in the first month of owning the car my headrests leather covers came unfolded at the bottom. A little remote control airplane cement fixed those right up. These things happen, and yes, it's very annoying, but out of all the OTHER experiences from this car, I wouldn't trade one experience for the world. And my way of looking at the minor things is "if this is the worst that happens to this car, then that's okay." I don't want Jacqueline(717) on "Bullitt Hill." But I feel your pain and I don't want to sound rude, but just keep pressing and think of all the goodthings associated with the car.

For all those chips in the front end! Check into stongard. Not that it will take care of whats there already but will sure keep it from happening again. Unless u hit a giant
rock. It was the best investment I made I had it put on when my car had just a few thousand miles. Put it on the hood, front bumper, scoop lead edge. headlights. door edges. about 600 bucks but worth every cent.
Guranteed for 3 years. They really stand behind there product.
