I have some how cracked the ground effects splash guard on the drivers side. I guess I ran over something or cut a curb too close. It is not entirely broken but you can see the crack. The side that faces the tire is still fine. Since it is already cracked, should I wait and replace it if or when it finally breaks? I also wonder how hard it will be to replace? Some of the horror stories are terrible!!

I went to the ford dealer today to order the cracked ground effects and they told me that it had to be painted. That they did not come in DHG and had to be taken to the paint shop. I hope this is not true. Please someone tell me this is not true

It is true. Ford doesn't want to have to stock all three Bullitt color options for every piece on the car. It actually makes sense, it would cost a fortune. Besides, the DHG (or whichever color your car is) is a factory paint code. They can match it.
