If you did not follow the last post.. the post of some hoel shots with the Mac Off Road H are up. This will give you a good idea of what the exhaust sounds like. ON the idle one.. I reaved it way to high... hence the pop noise at the end. But the drive bys will give you good idea how great this set up sounds...

Well I thought the video did demonstrate the difference in noise. But for the record it is at least 5 times as loud. Yes there is a real nice power increase.

Doug

for 118.00 you can not beat it. I put over 600 in my 2000 GT exhuast, and it did not sound as good, and power increase was about the same.

Man, I love all of those!!!

I've not heard a stock exhaust from outside the car. If it sounds like that but quieter, it really is true to the movie.

Those were great!

/me saves clips to hdd..

Any tips would be appreciated. Also, what exactly do I need to buy? I you have the model number, I'd appreciate it. Also, do I need those things that trick the computer into thinking the catylitic converters are still there? How much are those, roughly?

Thanks, buddy. I really appreciate the info.

Yes you need MIL's.... there are a few different kinds out there now. I got mine a while back from dallas mustang, they were like 60 bucks for the set and are a no brainer to install. but since then I have seen some guy that has them for like 29 bucks a set. Not sure what the story is on them.. but they might be just as good. do a search on the corral, mustangworld and stangnet for info on those.

I got my H pipe from. http://www.mustangpartsonline.com/main.htm

Turn around was a bit slow but it was right after the WTA events.

Below is GTR and my main guy I buy all my stuff from recommened them, but I had some paypal cash to burn up and they do not take pay pal, so I used mustangpartsonline.

but I usully get all my stuff from Ron Short. He is great for tech advise and great service. HE is well known on all the Boards. You can email him directly at [email protected] He is great to deal with, but he can get buzy at times, but well worth the wait. (let him know I sent ya) HE actually told me to go through GTR becosue he could not beat the price. Everything else he can beat anyones price around.

Let me know when you get it ordered and I will give you a step buy step install on it. Basically the only PITA is removing the driver side header bolts, becouse MAC didnt make the sleave to fit great. But it is no biggy you just need some good visegrips and the back right out, then you replace them with bolts, I have the size in my data base for ya to get. THen you need to get 2 muffelr clams to clamp the H pipe part together. But I will give you a step by step install when you get it. shoot me an email when you get it.
