We went to the Chicago Auto show today and my wife and I fell in love.. We found our family car... I was thiking Mercury Marauder when it became available.. but I'll give it the boot for this beauty!
Mercury had a Concept Marauder and they were gauging interest.. Take your run-of-mill Marauder.. Lose 2 doors, Lose the ROOF! Ditch the Wimpy 32 valve Cobra engine and stick in a Roots Supercharged 4.6!!
I'm watching this closely. It'd be the only FULL SIZED convertible on the market. It's everything we're looking for. We wanted Fun.. we wanted safe, we wanted BIG!! This beauty delivers it in spades!!!!
You can keep your T-bird.. We're Loadin up and headin out for some road trippin fun!!

Oh.. and they had the new Cobra's there as well...

Blackwing,
You did a beautiful job in "balancing" the number of photo's shown between the Cobra and Merc! I can't imagine where your interest lays! The Merc is a beauty and would be a big hit, I think.

I like this much better than the new T-Bird.

its nice, but not that nice. just wish the t-bird had that engine

No.. this is that nice.. but for different reasons. Don't get me wrong.. the new T-bird is a beautiful car. But this car is a "Have your cake and eat it too" kind of ride. You have your fun convertible, and you can still strap little ones into the back seat without being a contortionist, or more than 2 of you can use it at a time.
