Ok since I will be purchasing my old 99GT at the end of my lease
I want to change the look of the car
Here a picture of the prototype

I rework to add my stripe to it
And work with the colour to resemble my dark satin green
I will purchase new 18x9 Bullitt wheels after Christmas
Also I will install hood scoop (Bullitt one!!)
Now should I leave the stripe or remove it?
I was also thinking of changing my plastic rocker panel.
I like better the Bullitt one (cleaner look)
Don’t get me wrong I’m not trying to make a Bullitt replica just want a different look
Anyway I like to have your comment (good or bad)

Go for it, I think it looks sweet. Maybe think twice about the hood scoop, it looks cool, but if I had a choice not have one on my hood, I probably wouldn't. Maybe if it were functional.......

Yes those brakes will get toss as soon as I need new one!
That stripe is definitely my signature  I “design” them and got
Graphic express (in Florida) to make them for me
So every time I see them on a mustang it make me smile :-B
As far as hood scoop I’m thinking of CDC shaker as an option to!

KEEP THE STRIPE! Please!!!
I love it.
Wait and get the shaker when they are marketed.
Yes, get the Bullitt rockers, or the Saleen rockers.
Most importantly...Have FUn doing it! I can't wait to see your updates through the new year.

Yet another vote for the 'ol stripe here. There's just something about it that grabs you visually. Not too tacky, not to loud, it's just right. I had thought about getting it done on the Bullitt but then had second thoughts. If I had a GT or Cobra I'd have that done in a second though.
As for the scoop.. I love it. If you're sticking with a GT look to the Ram Air kit by KarKraft. It makes it a fully functional ram air.

Yes if I stick with GT hood scoop it definitely be functional even if I think give little or no HP gain at least it is functional!
The shaker is more a visual thing
Just thinking to seeing this thing dancing on the hood give me shiver(spelling?) down my spine! :-B

thank's for all the reply
I’m trying to work a deal with an Ontario dealer to purchase the car thru him and to have all modification (suspension and brake)done by him and financing it thru ford
if this works out I will probably get the Bullitt intake install at same time

I say no stripes, they belong on 70"s cars, My opinion so don't get mad, I would have made the clone! But if you were not going that route then the Cobra rims are cool(i have them on my 91) Lower her a inch all the way around, Put a half cage, toss the scoop unless it's working, (My 65 sucks up more dirt)X pipes Chip, Headers 388 rear, Harness Belts, and bingo a sorta Bullitt with a Bad ass stance, Fast too. If in the future i cannot buy a good used DHG Bullitt i will build a clone, with a Few HP goodies inside.

In my opinion, I don't like the look of the stripe, but it seems I'm only the second one to feel this way, so majority rules. As for the Hood Scoop, that is one of my favorite aspects of the BULLITT. I've seen the scoop on different color GT's and feel it doesn't belong on some colors, but if your looking at DHG, put on the scoop, it gives it the mean, muscle car look.
