Well I finally did it. I ordered an aluminum driveshaft, a Dr. Gas X pipe and a set of 3.73's for #929. I thought about the gear question for a while and decided with all the highway duty it sees 4.10's might be a little tall for my taste. I have 1 question for anyone that has a line on the Pauls High Performance kit for the Bullitt though. I assume with the upgrades he will make there will be a tuned chip included in the package. My question is this though. When you order the kit can you have the chip custom burned and take into account any mods you have done? If so would it be better to take the car to him and have it dyno tuned? I know the kit isn't released yet but anyone with information on this would be greatly appreciated. I plan on calling up tomorrow and asking these very same questions if they can offer an answer that would be great. But I thought I would pose the question here as well.

Lok, you're better off just calling and asking. get it straight from Paul's instead of from us! let us know what they say!!
i really like your proposed mods, good choices!!

Well, I gave the guys up at PHP a call today. They said that the mods I do would certainly be taken into account when they burn the chip with the kit. Although they wouldn't confirm that a chip would be included as part of the package they did agree that it would be a good idea to get the most out of the package. They said in the case of someone a good distance away they have a sheet that you fill out and fax to them including all your mods and all the pertinent info. I figure though if I am gonna do this I will take a day and drive up to have them dyno tune it. They were very helpful and I expect VERY good things from what they have to offer the Bullittheads.
