Just installed a new grill last weekend. It's a Speedgrille made by Street Scene. I purchased it from Haney Motorsports. Made of clear anodized CNC'ed aluminum. Totally replaces OEM grill and uses same OEM mounting holes. No holes drilled and is reversable. Lower valence grill attached with special clips, again no holes to drill. Lower grill looks "cool" and protects lower portion of radiator. Comes in chrome and black also I think. I really wanted some more aluminum color to go with all the billet stuff on my black #3651. By the way, you may also install the chrome pony from OEM grill if you like. I opted not too.

I would say the surface is more like satin finsh. They are clear anodized so they are not shining like polished and there is not really any brush marks either. The surface is more similar to our shift knob. I think they come in black. I know they do have chrome. You could probably paint black if desired. I was only interested in finding a natural aluminum finish so I am not 100% sure.

Okay first off, yeah, I know you can wear shorts this time of year in AZ, but do you have to show off???

Can we get a 3/4 shot of the car from the front. I am torn between these grills and the black powder-coated ones.

Very neat looking!

I've got one of those on my Ranger. From what I know about Street Scene they only come in Satin and Chrome finish. The only draw back I see is they bend real easy, but the fit and finish is great.

No, the bumper is not mirrored! When I took this picture I thought to myself..."damn that baby's shiny!" I usually apply a thin coat of wax with orbital buffer just about every time I wash the thing. I will post a better overall picture of the car ASAP so you can get a better idea of overall "look". The "4 bolts" that need removed require a very small box-end wrench. I forget the size but I borrowed one from my neighbor. They will be a real pain with a larger wrench. I got mine off in about 5 minutes.

BLKBLIT,

Hey, can you back up several feet and take a shot from a distance away, so we can kinda get an idea of what the whole car looks like with it??

Thanks!

Here are some more pictures from the same day. Best I can do right now. I think the grill looks alot brighter in these pictures than it normally appears so take that into consideration. Probably since my car was in the relatively dark garage compared to the very bright sunny day outside. That and my digital camera is pretty cheap (actaully a webcam that can be removed from PC).

Hi Michael,

Looks good. Does it come with an insert for the hood scoop as well? Hard to tell from your photos, but it kind of looks like it did. I would want to replace both the hood scoop grill and the front grill ... I might want on in black as well though, as 227 is black. Oh yes and I'm thinking about that black flamed pony for the Grill as well

Take care.

Bud
