What do you think a 1970 type Cuda
pistol grip shifter in the Bullitt would look like???
I owned a 70 Cuda Hemi and the pistol grip shifter looked great, felt great and you
could hold on to it when shifting..
I have a metal company next to our business
and they will reproduce one in polished stainless steel.

had one on a 70 Roadrunner. Looked great in that car, but I think it would look completely out of place in the Bullitt's cabin. I loved the pistol-grip though. I remember one time I was trying to show off, revved it up, dropped the clutch. Thought I was "burning rubber" until I smelled the clutch! Due to very close 1-3 linkage, I had it in 3rd!

Pistol grip's are really cool, they feel very natural. That being said, I think of them as "Mopar-only." What happened to the Cuda? My two favorite cars are a 1970 Boss 302 & a 71 Hemi Cuda In-Violet. Greta looking car.
