Would someone in the know please give everybody an update of the progress of the BCNationals?

That should get this Heading off to a good start.

PS When is the Stang round-up in Steamboat?

Just got an e-mail back from Fun Ford.

Nothing particular yet. See e-mail below...

Bill is the owner of American Autosports Productions, the producers of Fun Ford Weekend. If he didn't get it, I will talk to him today (I'm in LA California, Bill is in Louisana). Personaly, I would be in favor of having some kind of "Bullett Extravaganza", however there are things to consider. Car count at most of the FFW events is quite high (700 to 1000), and just running the cars in the existing classes (at least 3 runs for qualifying on Saturday and eliminations on Sunday) is not an easy task. Time becomes a factor. But, on the other hand, Ford Motor Company is the primary sponsor of the series and they like to see "new" Mustangs on the track. Let's see if Bill can work something out.
Regards,

Thanks for the response George. I haven't heard from anyone at all. Just need to know who the right person is to contact. E-mail doesn't seem to be working. Is Bill the right guy to talk to on this?

Second e-mail from race coordinator. What does everyone think?

Do you have a format as far as the race is concerned? Will you do like a
bracket race? I'm not telling you yes or no at this point and Bill would
be the one to make the final decision. I run the actual race and I need to
know about how many cars would race and what type of format to see if it
can be fit in to an already tight schedule. I can tell you if we do
anything as far as the race is concerned it would have to be on Saturday.
Anyway, feed me a little more info and when Bill and I get together we can
make a decision and get back to you. Please understand there are allot of
races between now and Ennis, so the response might not be immediate.

I don't know for sure, but I think that there are other tracks near Ennis. If we can't get a spot on the Ennis track, we could try another one for just that day. Maybe a "Bullitts Only". Maybe someone else that is into this sort of thing could help out? Just an idea.
