PM taunting

Well this is funny....I get a PM from some guy bragging how he spent 7k less on his Bullitt than I did.
He's in Canada (Toronto, which might explain his attitude).
Now I paid $35,900 for my car. I doubt that he could've bought a Bullitt in the US and then shipped it to Canada and also paid taxes on it, plus exchange rate on the US dollar and have his final total be $7000 less than what I paid.

He said he thought I'd like to know. LOL

Dude has no life left in him.
Maybe he bought a damaged in shipping one
Well I'm all for someone getting a good deal. And I did think about going to the US to get one. But there is a lot of hassle searching one for a good price, then you've got about $1200US to ship it to Canada, then taxes and exchange rate.
For me it was easier to just go to my local dealer.
I just thought it strange that he felt I would like to "know" about his deal. LOL

No doubt, on either comment...
I dunno about Bullitts, but I understand that there's a huge difference in pricing between US and Canada on motorcycles. One of my co-workers recently purchased a new motorcycle for his brother-in-law who lives in Canada, and then sold it to him as "used". Apparently there was about a $10,000 difference in pricing, even given that the exchange rate is very nearly one-to-one. And by buying "used", there was some difference in the taxes versus new. So maybe this person made a similar deal? Almost makes one want to go into the export business.
Pay no mind - he's just ate-up with the Dumbarse.

Go and taunt a man 'cuz you paid less...........

It's not just the PRICE that's smaller, I bet.
Maybe he bought a used '01.

I really believe posting up with what you paid is not a bad thing. It really does give others an idea of what is out there in different areas. What this person did really does sound like they may be trying to rub something in. Not very "Bullitthead" friendly
Toronto? Dang!
I was just there a few days ago on a short layover.
The other pilot and I went to the Toronto Airport Hooters for dinner.
The Hooters girls there were ridiculously hot.
I also noticed a place called "The Landing Strip" a few doors down from Hooters.
It looked like a cool place but we didn't have time to check it out.

Is that all you do out-of-town on "Bidness" is hang-out at Hooters and the local Bitty-Tars?
Bitty tars?

Them there girlies had some tig ol' bitties.

To answer your question...affirmatitty. :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:
Unbelievable... NO life left in that one
Good boys stay away from "The Landing Strip"...
Mine came in from the US, and the landed cost was just under $34k CAD. I did a fair bit of research on the car and different dealers. I honestly doubt you could pick up a new 2008 no mileage Bullitt for $7k less than what you paid. Most dealers in my area are asking $40k, and some of those have been brought in from the US!

DAMN DUDE, WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL!!!!!!

I would've met you at the Hooters. I'm about 20-30 minutes from there
That exchange rate sucks for you guys north of the border.Maybe I don't mean exchange rate but the rate you must pay to bring a car over.Maybe you could sneak one over like an illegal alien.Happens all the time in the US.
Enough complaining, or I shall taunt you a second time-a.
