With 4090 being totaled by the dealer, there must be a better way! Is it possible to go with the "tech" after having work done? Do dealers allow this? Should we note the mileage with the service manager? Should we ask to be present during all work!

I dread the day I have to leave 4137 with some "tech"!

I feel the same way man! I don't even take mine to Oasis Car Wash just 'cause I don't want nobody driving the car even through the car wash.

Quick question, what's a Desencharger? I was in Dallas Mustang today and forgot to ask.

THanks,

I know the feeling. I had an appointment the other day and parking was messed up. I was forced to use the valet parking. It wasn't until I handed the key to the guy that the alarm went off in my head..."What in the hell are you doing!!!!".

The whole time I was inside I was sweating bullitts. Luckily, nothing happend to my car. I noted the milage also, it was driven .2 miles. Whew.

Yea, I had a valet guy park my pup last weekend. I decided to enjoy it. My wife and I laughed and listened as he tried to park it carefully (jeezuz what kind of Mustang is this??). When I came back from dinner and he pulled it up. He was grinning and had all kind of questions.. that was cool. Made the guy's evening.

You should have seen the valet's face when I pulled up to the restraunt the other night. He must have been all of 18 years old and heard the whine of the Vortech under the hood and about p*ssed himself when he looked at the gauges on the pillar pod and saw the one that said boost. I made damn sure to check the mileage when I handed him the key so I didn't incure a Ferris Buellers Day Off incident.

I've avoided valet parking so far, don't want to take any chances.

Max Cruz, the Densecharger is a cold air induction unit that places the filter in the fender. The 100mm is recommended for the Bullitt, I'm getting mine installed tonight.

I use valet parking when I go to a restaurant and insist that 2404 is parked out front and away from other vehicles and pedestrian traffic. The attendant knows he will get a larger tip if he complies and keeps an eye on it, and it is worth it.

Well, I just got the Bullitt back (after a 5 week wait!) for the shift fork repair & it had an extra 7 miles on the odometer. Obviously, techs need to drive cars around to diagnose problems & see if the repairs are done properly. Plus, wouldn't you want to get behind the wheel if you were working on it. However, I don't think anyone should go joyriding in someone else's car.

You guys are brave! No valet has ever touched any of my cars, including my company ride, and none ever will. If I can't find a place to park I go somewhere else. Maybe I am just too paranoid, but I'm happier that way.
