Questions I have on prepping for the track. Should I have a full gas load or as little as possible? Should I take out the spare tire for some weight loss or do I want it for weight over the rear tires? What seems to be the best launch rpm's and what is the best shift points? I have run a front wheel drive Taurus SHO previously, but rear wheel is entirely different. Thanks for the tips.

Take a tire gauge--drop the tire pressure to 20-25psi, take out the spare tire if you want, 100lbs loss = aprox 0.1 sec so about ahalf tank would be good. i have run with almost a full tank and run the same as i did with a half so its on you again. TAKE THE TRACTION COUNTROL OFF shift points ive dune 5,500 1-2, 5,500 2-3 ride three out 5,000 jas also worked well with me for the 1-2 shift... injoy oh yeah dont run back to back let the car cool for atleast a half hour to 45 min
