Ok so I know that we’re looking at something like 5500 thus far and the remainder of the promised 7700 Bullitts are to be completed in/as 2009 model year. So my question is do we know Ford’s total production for “all” 2008 model year Mustangs?

Just curious how rare our Bullitts really are?

Ok so that means for...

2008 with around 5500 Bullitts made of the 134,606 Mustangs this for this year model one out of every 24 Stangs is a Bullitt or about 0.04% of the total production.

2009 Ford is saying that they will only make 45,000 Mustangs (that’s sad. :( ) so if true that means that one out of every 18 Stangs from that year will be a Bullitt or 0.05% of the total.

Interesting.

I think you mean 4% and 5%, not .04% or .05%

That's not entirely due to less demand. You have to remember that the MY2009 for Mustangs will have a greatly shortened production period due to the planned MY2010 changeover for the revamped model in early '09.

Can you say 2010 Mustang Bullitt?
As much as I like the idea or that I don't think that there won't eventualy be a Bullitt in the next generation Mustang. But I tend to think that they'll delay that until a few years down the road after the new Mustang is debuted.

Just as they did when the current gen came out.
