Nice car....
I am debatting between a turbo and S/C at this point. Big reason is the Turbo will require beefed up tranny and rear end.

If you do not mind me asking.. how much did everything cost to go S/C and a run down of everything. what kind of numbers are you putting down>?????

Thanks

Doug

The whole Vortech kit plus the two gauges and pod, installed and all was just under 5K.
I haven't run or 1/4 mile or been to a dyno yet so I don't have any idea of numbers yet. The gauge pod is made by Autometer.

Looks great Jay. I'll bet it'll run like He## too. I am going to supercharge #85 at some point but I haven't had it long enough to determine the true baseline. (And I don't have the money to do it right now.) The wing takes some getting used to. But hey... A car really isn't yours till you've put your own personal touch on it. Let us know how it runs when you've had a chance to check it out.

Jay - That Blue sure is purty. So is that picture with the hood up! You've done pretty much wwhat I plan on doing in the future but right now I've only got 2500 miles on the car and still haven't gotten to know it yet. My DHG is #4693 so we're only 33 cars apart. I'm wondering if you had or are having any mechanical probs that I should be looking out for? I'm aware of all the possible problems that have plagued some of us but so far I seem pretty trouble free.
(Can you hear me knocking?) Anyway, since we're so close in the production run any probs you may have might also affect me (or not) Your car looks great and must be fast as hell. Some day...Thanks, Tony

No mechanical probs as of yet, have just a little over 7K on the odometer so far. Let's keep our fingers crossed!! Especially since there is a good chance my warranty won't fly anymore!

How long did it take to install the Vortech system? Is it something the average guy with all the tools can install on a Saturday and terrorize the populace with Sunday? Also, is your general driveability the same? Oddly enough, I am considering the very same setup once that pesky warranty expires.....

There are actually more than a few S/C Bullitts out there.
