[BULLITT #1042 (Ray Ackerman)]

I will be in San Diego Ca. for two weeks 3/8 to 3/24.
Is there any car musiums in SoCal? Also any good cruises,car shows,drag races?
I'm willing to do some driver for good car "STUFF" :-B Thanks

Unfortunately i won't have my Bullitt with me.

I'm in Los Angeles, 2 hrs north of San Diego. If you decide to make it up this way, you could make a friday out of going to the Peterson Automotive Museum (LaBrea x Wilshire) and then going to the cruise @ Bob's Big Boy in Burbank (on Riverside drive). I'd be happy to meet you @ the museum and grab a burger @ Bob's if you'd like. Let me know.

Anyway you can delay your trip a couple of weeks??? April 14th will be the grand daddy of CA Ford/Mustang shows at Knotts Berry Farm--1600 plus cars-a good half of them Mustangs. Enjoy Ponoma!!! Jack roush does a lot of design work for Team Mustang and SVT--He is in LA area (Irvine near Saleen possibly) might be worth a cruise by to snoop around.

The trip is paid for and booked,March is the best time for me to brake anyway.

If I understand the question--Not Intersections: Irvine is a town in Orange County--Steve Saleen has his factory there and I believe Jack Roush has his Roush Performance factory either in or near Irvine also. I'll see if I can get addresses for you.

BULLITT#1042, Yes ... DHG1005 lives in San Diego. Yes! there ia a auto museum it is in Balboa Park. Yes! there is drag racing every Sat. night at Qualcomm Stadium. Yes! there is cruising, but need to check with San Diego Mustang Club, I'm a member, and see when El Cajon Cruise Night starts and by the way the first night of the season is Mustang Night. Hope to meet you when you are down south.

Thanks to everyone for the info on my San Diego vacation.I was planning on meeting up with some of you but one thing leads to another,first i'm up to LA,and the next thing I know is I'm on a plane to Las Vegas for 4 days!!!! The vacation was over fast!!!

I did make it out to Qualcomm stadium for the drag races on the last Saturday night I was in town. ALL I can say about Qualcomm is bring your own TRACTION and hope for the best..... :-B I did meet a Bullitt own there he ran a 8.8 on that 1/8 track "CAN" I say track? WELL it did have a tree.... :-B
