My dealer ordered in a new assembly on monday...It came in on wed....oopps..no good, same imperfections inside lens...they ordered another one and it came in thursday..
..crystal clear..hoorray...installed today and it took only 10 minutes.
DONT let your dealer tell you that there is no reason to change it....CHANGE IT!!!

That's what happened to us, 369. Ford ordered a new headlight assembly and it came smudged on the inside too. So they ordered another one and it was fine. They said if a 2nd one came smudged too, that they would just take one off of a GT in the lot.
