1 250 miles.

2 2

3 Radar – No

4 yes

5 With traffic permitting, I did 15 to 20 MPH average over the speed limit. The only time I drive at the speed limit is when I’m driving in neighborhoods, or when a cop is within sight.

Miles: 250
Tickets: 2
Radar: No (but I have a very good traffic lawyer)

NOTE: the 2 tickets I got were on the way home from visiting the in-laws. The last one was over the Thanksgiving holiday but I was driving the mini-van.

Maybe 20% of the time. If I'm going to get a ticket, it'll be because I was having a hell of a lot of fun. Not going 80 mph in the fast lane, what a waste of a ticket!

I've paid a kings ransom in tickets over my life. I'm just a little more mellow now.

I got pulled over about a month ago coming home from work. I was only going 50 in a 45. I had the cruise set because it's so hard to drive that slow. The cop said I was doing 57. He just gave me a warning but I still argued with him about how fast I was going. I asked to see the radar gun but he said he already cleared it. I would have been p*ssed if I got a ticket when I was only 5 over. Just two nights earlier I was racing a Trans Am going 85 down the same road.

Around 150 miles.

2 How many tickets in the past 5 years

None.

3 Radar Yes/No

No.

4 Do you regularly exceed the speed limit?

No, but I'll like to open it up a little sometimes...run it through the gears.

I Almost never go over 80. Most of my traveling is on side-roads, with an already active police presense...I think they want to catch me.

Are the old radar detectors from the 80's even remotely effective? I have an old Escort detector...I don't know what model it is.

Yes, just by going with the flow

If you have an older detector that is not set up for the Ka band, then best thing to do is to give to someone you don't like...
Thought about this for a custom plate

Not my daily driver, so I don't put that many miles on her. I buy everything else but never purchased a REAL good radar detector.

WHAT IS THE BEST RADAR DETECTOR ON THE MARKET TODAY? I'm going to buy myself a Christmas present!

1. 400 miles per week
2. Either 4 or 5 in the last 5 years.
Actually lost my liecence about 6 years ago, due to too many tickets.
3. No radar detector, hard to trust it for me
4. YES!!! I'm constantly driving about 10 MPH over, (which most of my tickets end of being). Even when a COP is around, I drive 5 MPH over, I just can't drive the speed limit, it's too slow! Since buying the BULLITT on Father's Day, I find my self driving faster than 10 over, and usually on a country road, where no other cars are around, I end up cruising around 100 - 110 MPH, since the car handles so well. And of course there are those times when I just end up playing and get the car around 140.

(1) How many miles do you drive a week?
2,900 miles in the truck 250 miles in the car

(2) How many tickets in the past 5 years? None

(3) Radar? No

(4) Do you regularly exceed the speed limit? Truck,...No Car,.....Yes

I don't use radar, I just let someone driving fast run the gauntlet and I ride behind them about 1/4 mile, at usually 85 to 90 in a 75 mph zone.

350-400. 62 mile round trip to work 5 days a week.

For point A-B driving mostly not. Some times maybe 5 over to keep up with the flow of traffic. For the rare moments that I want to push it, like Bob, I fall in behind someone that's running faster. Anyone can speed - my sh*t-box Vega can run 90 - It's who can get to the speed limit fastest that matters.

I try to stay totally legal around town due to who my friends are and what I do for a living plus I have to keep my prefered insurance status.. I usually drive about 5 to 10 mph over on the interstate. I still get about one ticket every 5 years. This usually sends me to the store for the latest dectector. I currently use a dectector in my daily driver because it reminds me not to speed. When you have a device stuck to the front winshield it is a constant reminder.
The Bullitt is driven currently without one.
My Focus ZX3 has got one running currently and I have another in the drawer in case I need to drive the Bullitt for work. I am tring to drive to Bullitt a couple of times a week now and it's tough to stay out of it.
