I don't leave till Sunday, but my skin is crawling all over in anticipation of my departure.

I just now signed off work....from week from hell trying to get stuff done and cared for....
been working late on work, and last minute HoonDog details, and working thru a dying wireless modem...like...could there be a WORSE time??? So much so, haven't even had time to detail 3230....but...I don't care...she's gonna get dirty on the road anyway...
And ya....I AM SO READY!!!
Packing up tonight, hitting the road in the morning meeting up with Chuck! WOOOT!
See you in Chicago!!!

I couldn't shake her!!
She was packed up 3 days ago and been waiting at the door ever since!! :lol:
I think she was afraid I WOULD leave her and wasn't gonna take any chances!!!
And I haven't even started to pack yet....10 hrs to go.....

Tomorrow is my insane day. Still haven't got the truck back from the shop. Have to stop at two sites in the morning, then get truck, drive an hour and a half each way to pick up the trailer and then start loading up and finally pack. Aiming for 6:30 am Friday departure for Chicago.....

@ Jeff: Yuppers! She knows, but isn't interested in LV , or leaving our brainiac son behind . Besides, "her" trip is next month. She went to D.C. last week and left me behind, next month it's Native American Pow Wow in Chicago. I don't get out of that one though, as I and our son have been volunteered into doing things for the PowWow:redface: . :neutral: Hmmm.
The Chicago meeting is partly why I am not meeting the group in Chicago for this trip. I am also scheduled to go back a month later for hands on training. I'm not into that either as I am wanting to retire this January. What's the point of training me on a system that isn't going to be utilized until the middle of next year, maybe......That would be three trips to Chicago. Not doing but one, and only if I cannot get out of it. :lol:
Crap! I may have to go to Chicago the week of the 18th, return and go back the same Saturday, the 23rd, as I get home! Something has gotta give.....hopefully it isn't me!

Hitting the road in less than 8 hours. I begin my Rt 66 adventure by driving East to overnight in Kingman, AZ. Then North to Monument Valley: http://monumentvalleyview.com/
Then drive East thru Four corners and South back to RT 66 in Gallup. Over night in Santa Fe before joining the LL tour at Tucumcari, NM.
Better get to bed, but really too excited to sleep well. BTW, the wife will be staying home (too long a trip). See you all Memorial Day.

My wife is not coming along either she is doing her own trip in August with her sister to New York City. As I am not a fan of that place we both win! Yay!
