welcome back
Very nice, good for you.👌Hi!
After a few years without owning my own 2001 DHG Bullitt, I have re-entered the club with the purchase of '01 DHG #01155 in November 2022. It's all original with just 58,000 miles on it. The driver's seat bolster is in very nice condition, too. I'm the 4th owner and bought the car from a Toyota dealership's used car lot in Boulder, Colorado after watching the price drop over a two-month period. I had the car transported to Danville, California, and then had to go through the process of registering an out-of-state car in California -- which required a little more finesse than I'd anticipated (including needing to get a new under-hood vehicle emissions label).
Below are two photos from the dealership's website listing. I'm still getting the car up to my standard before posting "official" pictures of it. Those tires are Bridgestone Blizzaks with 2005 date codes. I've already replaced those.
I plan to hold onto this one for a very long time!
In the past, I had owned '01 DHG #01794 from 2006 - 2015.
In 2021, my brother and I went 50/50 to purchase '01 DHG #00007 from it's original owner, which we still share. I came close to buying a '01 Black Bullitt (in California, but with 110,000 miles) and a True Blue Bullitt (in Georgia that needed lots of work), but held out for the DHG. I'm thrilled to be back in the '01 DHG Bullitt saddle again!

Rick, I can't wait to make a trip out to Danville, CA to see the car in person, and drive #01155 on the Bullitt chase route through the streets of San Francisco. The car my brother and I share (2001 #00007) just received a Grill Medallion from MCA. I am glad to have brought my brother back into the Mustang, and more specifically Bullitt, community. Below are the images of #00007 the morning after I picked it up from the original owner. No cleaning needed.Hi!

Came out very nice (but still not anything as nice as '01 DHG #00007 that I own with my brother)! You can see the new tires -- Goodyear Eagle Sport A/S to replace the 17 year-old Blizzaks that had been on there when I bought the car in November 2022.
I've already signed-up to enter the car in three car shows this spring and summer. Plus, I'm patiently waiting to get my California Black and Gold plates from DMV. Those will read "01155".
The car looks really clean. Your patience in selecting your next Bullitt paid off!
Welcome back into the fold. That's a great looking Bullitt, I can't wait until mine starts to shine like that again once I get it repainted.View attachment 92289
