I'll try to scan and copy this for you, but Vortech just announced in April Motor Trend they just finished a BULLITT only supercharger with an Inter cooler!!! I think it said around 4K. And promised 150 more H.P.. Who needs a 2003 Cobra now!!!!!! Something was mentioned about not having to run a line to the oil pan too. WOW!!! Don't flame me if my figures aren't exactly right, just read it briefly at work. On my way to the news stand now to confirm numbers.Sorry it is NOT Vortech, it's ProCharger.

The 03 Cobra is a Supercharged DOHC 4.6. Gray Iron block just like ours. Except we are SOHC. 390plus H.P. For Cobra. This would give us 400Plus!!!

Bullitt4995,
I am one of those poor "basturds" with the death rattle. Just waiting for the warranty to run out then I will be adding a SC. By the looks of it I will be adding the Eaton, but will reinvestigate when the mileage gets closer.

Yeap that's the Vortech Web Site that got me infected with "the Mod Disease." Once you get it, it is hard to stop. BTW, the Vortech works great, but ensure a good tune. Better to be blown that get blown away  .

Walkman, you make a very very critical point! The '03 Cobra engine is NOT the same engine as the current engine. Even though having a blower is enticing, our engines are not made for a blower. Just like when GM came out with the turbocharges Corvair Spyder! They just hung the turbo on the 102hp engine and did nothing else except claim 150hp. That's why all of them keept burning #1 valve. I went thru a valve every 3 months with that car, although it did run good in between valves.

PonyXTC, Autorotor 3150 may be the way to go DHG 1005 is getting one soon. Kenne Bell test in MM&FF April 2002 reads good about this twin-screw supercharger and it runs real cool and can make up to 419 HP.

on your six ... DHG 1005

I have actually called Procharger and according to the woman I spoke to on the phone the "so called" Bullitt only supercharger is the same as the one for the regular GT. The woman on the other end of the phone said that the only difference might be the computer chip that comes with the package. And she wasn't even sure of this. I am going to try and call back again at another time to see if I can talk to someone else and maybe get some different information. Motortrend did print that Procharger had a Bullitt specific supercharger system. And yes it is self lubricating--there is no need to supply lube from your oil pan.
