While we're all waiting on 2001 Bullitt collectibles, there are a few '68 items out there for the grabbin' now. I purchased a couple of 1/25 Bullitt ('68 Mustang)Model Kits for under $10 each. (there's also the black '68 Charger available) They look great! If you look at their website: http://www.revell-monogram.com you'll see a few other Bullitt ('68) items listed. Coming out March 31, 2002 is the "1/64 Bullitt Diorama Set". Here's what it is: Creating an instantly recognizable scene is what a good diorama is all about. A skillful combination of vehicles, people and scenery that takes you right to that spot in time. Packaged in a hard clear plastic case, each diorama features 1:64 scale fully painted figures, road surface and printed graphics, along with our exact detail 1:64 scale cars.

Just thought I'd pass along more Bullitt collectible info to y'all. (hopefully we'll see a 2001 Bullitt collectible soon)

Since I do not think I have seen anyone else mention it, you all do realize that Ertl is doing the Bullitt cars also this year/next year. Most online places are alread sold out of them from presells. The cars from Vanishing Point and Two Lane Blacktop are also being done. The first Vanishing Point car is out but already sold out and is going for far too much (IMHO) on Ebay. Later on they are going to do it in a "dirty" right before the end of the chase version. If you want the Bullitt cars you need to get on the ball.

The Ertl web site is crap. Go to this web site:

http://www.nationaldiecasters.com/

Go to the new 2002 listing section, scroll down through all the new cars and you will see the Vanishing Point, Bullitt, Two Lane Blacktop, Smokey and the Bandit, Gone in 60 Seconds, and The Fast and the Furious cars.

I got these ones from The Collectors Guild @ http://www.diecastbymail.com
$40.00 for the set with the Steve McQueen as Frank Bullitt figure and the two bad guy figures sitting in the Charger. The boxes have sort of a diorama thing going on with them.

They are also getting the Ertl Bullitt too.

You may be able to pre-order there.
