any problem with engaging reverse
mine seen to have this problem, 1 time out of 3 I can’t engage reverse
I took the car to the dealer and service rep said it’s because reverse is not synchronize
He told me all I got to do is put in 1first then reverse I think this is B/S

I have got to agree with the service rep on this one. I've never had a manual transmission that did not occasionally balk at going into reverse. Don't force it, try putting it into a forward gear and maybe even let the clutch out a little to rock the car, disengage clutch and try reverse again. Usually does the trick and saves wear and tear on transmission. I am not a transmission expert but as far as I know most manual transmissions do not have synchro for reverse because it would be a very bad thing to hit reverse while moving in a forward gear.

I always try to move the shifter back and forth at least once in neutral before going to reverse. I use this technique for a smooth shift into first from second also.
