Anyone interested in getting in a road course day this Saturday at Cayuga? I'm going to sign up for the Advanced Driver Training program from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $250 plus GST and includes classroom, one-on-one driving with an instructor in your car and lunch. Sounds like fun! Check here for more details: http://www.torontomotorsportspark.com/raceway/home.htm. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.

The weather forecast has improved for Saturday. Looks like no rain now - at least that's what I'm hoping for!

Well, all I can say is I had an absolute blast on Saturday! The instructors were great, as were the other people there running their cars. Mostly BMWs and Porsches, two Z06's, one Mazda-5 minivan (really nice woman from Waterloo as well who's husband bought her the session) and me with the only Mustang. Weather was great, car performed really well and I learned a lot and had a ton of fun!

Paul, if you're reading this, I have to say this beats the drag strip any day. If you guys have never done this, you gotta get out and try it! Maybe we can arrange a day next year. It would be fun to go out there with some people I know, plus we need more Mustangs on the track!

Of course I'm going to read this! Glad you had fun. But, it's also a lot more expensive than drags which is why I gave up on F2000's.

Having said that I would be up for a day of this.

Yup, I could see it getting VERY expensive, with paying for track time, tires, brakes, fuel, etc. I probably wouldn't get into it seriously, but I would definitely be up for going once or twice a year.
