The Stage 3 Suspension Kit is said to work with any type of wheel combination, but for optimum performance ROUSH suggests you use ROUSH RR03 forged wheels (part number 402422) and as ROUSHcharger. The suspension was specifically designed with the weight of these components in mind. In all, the kit lowers the Mustang by one inch.
I'd love to have a GT project car to do some of these things. :)

Not on the Bullitt though.
Ford Racing already has a suspension kit out there that will match or exceed it. And that Ford Racing Handling Pack was designed by the guys who first put the 05+ Mustangs on the race track.

Note that Roush kit is designed for additional nose weight of the supercharger -wouldn't touch it unless your going with a blower.
This is what I like about this forum - well informed members willing to share their knowledge. Thanks a heap!

Your signature block indicates that you have the Ford Racing Handling Pack installed on your 08 Bullitt. Did you retain your original strut tower brace on the car?

Will it now!?

I bet if it did, Ford would advertise it's 1g capabilities!

Let's face it, Ford is broke. They don't have the money necessary to build the best of anything anymore.

I'm not saying the Ford Racing kit isn't any good, but to say it's better than the Roush kit with all their money and time of development is pretty far fetched...
anyone have experience with the H&R coilovers, i was looking at getting them

Don't kid yourself about Ford and their capabilities.

In comparison Roush is a small player.
Yea Roush makes some real crap - not

The only differance they have said (rumor) in the Stage 2 and Stage 3 is the valving of the front struts. Even thought the color of the sway bar and shocks/struts are Red for Stage 3 and Blue for Stage 2 they both share the same Blue springs and though the color maybe different on the sway bars the dia are the exact same.

Here is the Stage 2 suspension on the supercharged 427R in action..

Roush definitely does not built garbage. They are however a smaller player in field of engineering and development. That doesn't stop Ford from cooperating with them in development of parts however, and it works both ways.
an example is Roush was instrumental in the development of the intake for the Marauder, which is (or was at the time) said to be the most free flowing intake for the 4V. (probably why it is sought after by 4v Mustang owners)

On the stage 2 / stage 3 anti sway bars, I wonder if there is a differnce in the material used?

It is possible though as Mustang 3 stated the front struts of the stage 3 kit is designed specifically to accommodate the extra weight of a S/C.
I thought the difference between Stage 2 and 3 was the sway bars are solid, instead of hollow?
