[Bullitt#370]

Has anyone solved or have a cure for the continuous stream of of water that comes from the hood scoup after you wash the bullitt? Unless you continue to dry it for a while after washing there is always a water streak. I would think all GT owners have the same problem and there should be some slick solution. Compressed air might be the solution but I hav not tried it.

Any thoughts?

Lift up on the front of the scoop the water will run out.

Someone recommended a while back opening the hood and letting the water run out the rear of the scoop. I've been doing this and it seems to work OK. While the hood is open, I wipe down the engine compartment. You need to keep the hood open for several minutes to make sure all the water flows out.

I tried that once but maybe I didn't leave it up long enough. So, I'll try again.

Just what 4003 said. I've been doing that since I had my GT and now with 2571. Keep the hood up for at least 5-10 minutes and shake it just before you close it. Most of the water is out by then. I also open the trunk while I wait. There's as much water or more hidden in the drain areas.
