I saw some interesting cars at the Ford show today--
One was a Mustang with a Saleen widebody kit. It looked all the world to be a 1000hp beast, but the engine was too small-- a V6.
The other was an Saleen V8 with a supercharger... 281 something. Looked impressive with a claimed 350+hp. Then I looked at the brakes on the front. Not 4 pot Brembos, not 13" Cobra/Bullitt brakes, but the same garden-variety stock Mustang set.
A Mustang that can't get going (a V6 pulling a few more pounds of body) and one that cannot stop.
