Seat Belt Retainers.........

Does anyone else find it impossible to keep the seat belts in the oval retainers on the front seatbacks? Please let me know if you have a neat fix. I've thought of black electrical tape over the slits, but I know that would look like Southern Engineering--which won't get it, if you get my drift.

Here's some pics of the shrink tubing I used on the retainers. After putting them on and shrinking to fit, I put some vinyl conditioner (DiamondKote) on them. They blend in very well.
