I am not one of the ladies, but I don't like Pay-Pal either. I bough some items from H1RESQ and tried using PP numerous times. It would not take my password. So I E-Mailed them and did everything I could think of to get assistance from them. They never did respond. So to heck with them.

Where do I send a check or MO?

I don't like them anymore because of the "fees" they charge. If it's free, I'll use it, but once they start to charge (and they charge a lot, not a little) I quit using it. Plus, I've had nothing but trouble logging on lately...i.e. the password thing for me too.....too much trouble, so I quit!

Once PayPal required my checking account number, that killed their usefulness for me. I'm not too concerned about PayPal using it in the wrong way, I'm concerned about hackers discovering it from PayPal. Once someone knows your checking account number, they can withdrawal from your account leaving you with little recourse. Unlike a credit card/debit card, checking accounts have no such fraudulent limits...

If someone wants to "deposit" into my checking account (with the exception of my employer), they can do so by issuing a merchant credit to my checking account's debit card. No other way.

Yeah, PayPal takes a chunk out of each transactions (leeches!), but for many people it was the easiest way. Personally, I think they are secure, but I have no problem with people who don't want to use it. Your concerns are valid based on all the sneaky weasels on the internet.

I will email everyone who requested info on our PO box, and if anyone else who didn't post, needs that info, just email me. Sending something snail mail is fine as well.

Thanks,

B-Man

I tried, oh how I tried, to get a BUNCH of presskits, but by the time I found someone at Ford to help me out, they were down to their last (small) stash.

If anyone from Ford is on here reading this, and knows where I can get more presskits, email me.

"PAY PAL " Get it ? Thats why they came up with the name. They are your "PAL" and they want you to pay them. So PAY up.. PAL. Having heard the testimonies, I don't feel too confident in using the system either. What's a snail mail address I can use ?

Pay Pal only wants your checking account number if you want to be certified and to receive money directly into your checking account. You can send money with only a credit card if you want. Because you are not certified and you pay for goods and services you will NOT be elgible for thier insurance coverage.

It used to be for a personal account sending money up to 2000 a year there was not a charge. Not sure what it is now. And I believe it still holds that the person receiving pays the fees not the person paying.

I have had excellent luck using Paypal for paying and receiving payments on ebay. Also when paying I have a record of payment and of the other person receiving payment. Something not easily done with Money Orders.
