2001 Ford Mustang Bullitt Motor Long Block V8 4.6L SOHC for Salvage, came out of collector car #1398

This motor came out after rod was knocking on cylinder number 8 (driver side towards the firewall) with 109k miles on it. Block is still good. I have not opened up the block to investigate anything, as I had bought a replacement remqnufactured Bullitt long block for the car at that time in 2010. I have kept the motor in the crate my replacement motor came in since the time of removal from the car. I suspect it is a thrown rod bearing because the sound disappeared when I unplugged the injector on cylinder 8. I just recently sold the car 7-9-21 and want to sell the motor that's been in my shed.

I'm not sure what its worth but it is posted currently on Craigslist for $500 OBO.

If you want it, make me an offer. If you want some pics, just message me here and I'll be happy to send some over. Or check out the current Craigslist ad here
