The service engine soon light has recently come on and will not go off even with MIL Eliminators. I have had Bullitt 4009 checked twice and it is the Left O2 sensor code: P0153, which is common with exhaust mods. I've replaced the Mil Eliminators twice too. No Luck.

The light did go off for a few days last week , then came back on  Huh?

Could it be just to give it time, maybe the computer needs time to learn? The X Pipe is in great condition, thus no damage to my cats.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Mike

Disconnect your battery overnight and see what happens. I had the same problem when I installed a Mac high flow H pipe. Ever since I put the stock H back on with the side exhaust which runs dynomax super turbos, the car runs like a raped date.

Hey Hoofbeat, do you have a pic of that yellow GT? The body mods and exhaust make it sound like a real looker! I like my Bullitt stock and plain, but if I had GT, it would be something like you've done.

Thanks for the compliments Rich. I desperately need to get a digital camera because so many people ask me for pics. I want to show my baby off!

Thanks Guys, I just disconnected my battery.
I'll let you know what happens. If the lights comes back on, the Mustang shop who did all my Mods will give it a another look at no charge. They are perfectionist and are a lot more concerned about it than me. It is something I can live with as long it is just the left rear 02 sensor. Can't take off the Bassani's, too good of a Mod!

I love the new power, but lots of increased power = more potential mechanical problems with little or no warranty left. Oh well, thats life in the fast lane.

Hey MRUDY, I have exactly the same problem, I'm running all Bassani from exh mfld to tips and have a recurring P0153 SES Light syndrome which equates to the driver's side forward 02 sensor. My "dealer" says its caused by my C&L MAF. My speed shop is going to check it out this Wednesday and as ordered a new 02 sensor to have standing by. I'll post the results Wed eve. If you get any additional info, please post.

upslayer,

I still have the problem. So far two checks with a Ford Dealer (P0153), replaced 02 sensor once and replaced MIL Eliminator also once. Even disconnected the battery for a few hours, and it came back on soon.

My Speed Shop is going to look at it this Friday. It is driving them more nuts than me. I'll let you know the results.

I noticed with your Bullitt No. you should also have the new KSG2. Huh, I wounder if this has anything to do with it?

One day, we will get it solved.

Ever since I installed my LT headers I have been tripping P0153 the message is something like "delayed O2 sensor reading" This has been tripping for the passenger side front O2 sensor. It is a typical code when doing something of this nature. The only way I know to fix it is to have the chip programmed to compensate.

mrudy,

You should already have the chip and you should be able to get it reflashed to correct this.

Thanks Eric,

I was beginning to think along those lines. Glad you confirmed it. I'll post when and how I get it fixed. Mike
