It was suggested to us that maybe we could come up with some kind of flap or guard to put inside the wheel well to help protect the aluminum exhaust tips from sandblasting from the tires spinning. My dealer (who doesn't work at Ford anymore) told us that those tips won't last a lot of years and they will be hard to come by by then! So we will see what hubby comes up with! Or we could go out and buy a couple sets of tips and store them for future use!

The sandpaper will work great for the little things, but it won't help my pipe. I Was cleaning them the other day and found the right pipe had a dent in it. It mist of come from all the construction I go thru on the highway. I hurts to see it. I try to steer clear from those things, but sometimes there's nothing you can do. I do plan on picking up a set of pipes down the road.
