Real quick if anyone knows, are the screws in the trim ring Torx? If so what size, want to work on this today but I don't have any bits this small.

If you are speaking of the aluminum colored trim ring around the shifter console/boot area....it is all plastic and one piece...doesn't come apart...screws are fake.

Does anyone know where you can get the bezel/boot combo? I want to modify one (boot) to accept a flat bar Hurst handle, but I don't want to cut it if I can't replace it.

Thanks for the offer. What I would like to find is a boot with the bezel attached so that I can easily swap it out. That will be one of my projects for down the road.

another thought is using a stock GT unit.
Then buying the aluminum aftermarket trim ring.
I have thought about doing this myself for the hell of it. I like the ideal of real aluminum I would match that up with a RedLine custom boot though.

I hadn't thought of that. It's a good idea. I just may do that!
