I recently purchased a 2019 Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt with an SME number of 2019-005, however, nowhere on the car does it show the Bullitt number, only the SME number. My VIN is 1FA6P8K01K5503551. I've contacted Steeda to try and acquire what Bullitt number the car was prior to the conversion to be a SME and their response was:

"We have an inventory of various badges there were removed from cars, and during the initial builds of cars our technicians removed the badges without recording the serial numbers of some of the cars they came from. If you can provide the applicable badge number to me, I'll search for it and see if it is in the collection of badges that we have. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to derive your badge number from the."

My question: Is there a way to find out what my Bullitt badge number was prior to being sent off to Steeda for the SME conversion? TIA

I sent emails for Ford Fleet who replied back that this was not the correct department and also to Ford Performance who replied back with this:

Unfortunately we do not have access to that specific data for the 2019 Bullitt Mustang. We can confirm your Bullitt is a true Bullitt and one of the 8,146 made. That is all the information we would be able to provide you.

I think and I could be wrong. Maybe somebody else can remember or you could look in the old 2001 posts. But look under the rear seat or the rear bumper for the build sheet. That might have the bullitt number on it. If you look through the old posts there might be a thread on getting the decal that was on the shock tower.

my certificate of authenticity that I got recently gives both the vin number and the production number so Ford must have all the data you require

I received some items from Steeda for my SME Bullitt, and one of the items is the Bullitt Number of K0063.
