SoCal Bullitt Owners Summer Cruise

Saturday, August 19 at 8 AM

To Palomar Mountain

For those not on Facebook, looking for something to do during these hot summer days ? Then come out and join The SoCal Bullitt Owners on a cruise Rick and John are organizing through the Palomar Mountains. We will be meeting at the Brea Mall at 8am and departing at 8:30. We will start the cruise by going through Brea Canyon then onto the 15 freeway south towards route 76 where we will stop and get gas and head up the mountain which will consist of a lot of twisties and beautiful scenery . We will stop for lunch at the top of the mountain and for pictures along the route. This will be a full day of driving the canyons and having fun hopefully we can have a full clip of Bullitt's.

I'll post more as plans firm up.

John and Rick are ironing out the details, but as of now we're meeting at Brea Mall (Sears side) at 8 am, leaving at 8:30. We'll get gas at the Mobil station at CA 76 (4730 CA-76, Fallbrook, CA 92028 ) about 10 am, where we'll meet the San Diego contingent. Then up the mountain for lunch.

Great turnout, everyone. Pretty close to 20 vehicles by my reckoning. Nice mountain top drive with a scenic stop overlooking the lake. Kudos to John & Rigmar (Rick) for putting this together.
