I drove the Bullitt out to the track to watch a Mopar show and go event, and to see how my buddy's HemiChallenger was doing. Well threatening weather was moving in,so I decided to haul butt. On leaving,I decided to let it rip on the road in front of the track. It sounded great, sucking in all that air,and letting out a loud, lengthy squeal from the tires,on the 1-2 shift. While talking to my Hemi friend today,he said when the gathering heard it run up in first gear,it turned a lot of heads, and they wanted to know what that Bullitt had! Oh and his 70 HemiChallenger did well also, running easy tire spinning 11.50s at 121 MPH! Not bad for a very quiet true street car.
